Hi! I’m Miranda Taylor, CD(DONA)

With over 15 years of experience working with children and families, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals through pivotal life transitions. My academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and Family Studies, a Master of Science in Adult Education, and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Human Lactation. These qualifications, combined with my passion for supporting families, have shaped my holistic approach to doula care.

My journey into this work began when I learned about the unique struggles women face during childbirth. As a certified DONA International birth doula, I offer comprehensive support throughout the prenatal, labor, and postnatal stages. I believe in tailoring care to meet the unique needs of each family, providing education, emotional support, and physical assistance during the birthing process.

During the prenatal period, I empower expecting mothers and their partners by providing clear, evidence-based information to help them make informed choices about their birth plan. Throughout labor, I offer emotional reassurance and comfort, helping to guide the process with care and respect. My goal is to help create a nurturing environment, ensuring that families feel supported and confident at every step. I am passionate about encouraging positive birth experiences and offering personalized care that fosters a sense of empowerment and trust.
